Miniature Poodle (Mini poodle)
The miniature Poodle is a happy and social dog well fitted as a family dog, for dog shows or agility. It is famous for being a fast learner and being very intelligent. But remember that it is also a very active dog that needs activities - things to do to be happy. The breed origins from France. The fur is curly and it is one of the few breeds that doen't have a fur which contaminated your furnitures. On the other hand it requires a trim once in a while - and a lot of brushing or combing to keep the fur in a good shape.
The Poodle has a lot of fur. Colours are brown, apricot, black, white or grey (silver). All colours without spots are allowed.
The Poodle comes out in different sizes: Large Poodle (King Poodle), Standard Poodle, Miniature Poodle and Toy Poodle. The Miniature Poodle and and the Toy Poodle is a small copy of the Standard Poodle. It is supposed to have the same proportions.
Height: Miniature Poodle: 28-35 cm. Toy Poodle: beneath 28 cm, ideal about 25 cm
