Chinese crested
Chinese Crested Dog (Chinese Naked dog) comes in two versions, one hairless and one with fur (Powder Puff) . In the same litter you could find both the naked and the Powder Puff. The two versions are very alike. What separate them is the fur, the teeth and the paws.
A Chinese Crested is alert, intelligent, ingenious and independent. This breed wants to have a good relation with its owner and want to please him or her. The Chinese Crested likes company and likes to socialise with other dogs. Also likes to take long walks with the humans. At low temperatures, however, you should be careful. The dog needs clothes and not too long walks in really cold weather. The dog needs bathing once a week. The naked version also needs skin care to keep the skin smooth. The Powder Puff need hair care to look good.
The Chinese Crested is good for agility. But remember that the dog has his own ideas and sometimes the surrounding is more interesting than the training!
Chinese Crested is a graceful little dog, often happy - never aggressive. It could reach an age of over 15 years.
All colours and combinations are allowed.
Height: Male 28-33 cm, Bitch 23-30 cm
Weight: maximum 5,5 kg
