Coton de tulear
Coton de Tulear is a small breed that origins from terriers and the now-a-days extincted breed of Madagaskar dog. The dog is alert, nice, intelligent, playful and affectionate family dog. It is healthy and is known for its long life. As the breed has a long fur it's important to take good care of the fur. If you show the dog the fur should be long and musn't be cut. Because of the fact that the dog has a special angel on its legs it has a special way of walking.
Sometimes the Coton de Tulear is talked about as "the clown of dogs" as it is funny and has a great sense of humor. The breed is durable and is ok on long walks in the forest.
The Coton is normally white. A few yellow, grey and more or less dark spots are allowed. Occurs especially on the ears.
Height: Male 25-32 cm, bitch 22-28 cm
Weight: Male 3-7 kg, bitch 4-6 kg
